Living in Rualburbia.....No Vacancies

OKAY.....well, who said the country can't be fun!?  It is not unusual to be driving down the road here in the country and smell a skunk and whether it was a dead one on the road or one passing by, it is not a smell that you roll down your window for (unless you are trying to get fresh air in to get the skunk smell out).  If we smell the foul odor, we make the dogs and cats come in, afraid they will get "sprayed"  The smell is a lingering smell.... a unique smell, for any of you that have not had the pleasure.....Count yourselves LUCKY.

Well I hate to report, that we believe living under my cottage is a skunk!  My cottage sits above ground and therefore has a small crawl space, even though I have bricks stacked up around the bottom, it appears that a creature has decided it to be a nice home, every morning, I find a brick in the back knocked out away from building.  We have not found it yet, but can smell it's calling card.  My husband has now put out a live trap to catch this uninvited guest.  I guess it figures we have so many animals that love living here that it wants to too!  But I believe this establishment is at full capacity at this time.

Will keep you posted......
